ALSDE Schools (Grade 8+)
Alabama students Grades 8-12 can Opt-in with parental consent in PowerSchool to enable automated sync of their individual learner data.
Students who have opted in and who have completed career technical education (CTE) or career readiness indicator (CRI) programs during the 2020-21 school year or after can Sync ALSDE under Add Credentials, bringing all completed courses and credentials into your digital wallet as micro-credentials, automatically including the skills earned with each course when available. For a list of courses and programs available for automatic “sync”, see ALSDE in the Alabama Credential Registry.
Additional non-credit and industry badges and certificates acquired through these programs can be added using the connect, upload, embed and link options as appropriate.
ACCS Colleges
Alabama Community College students who completed for-credit programs during the 2020-21 school year or later can Sync ACCS under Add Credentials.
This will add all your certificates (both short and long) and degree programs to your digital wallet, capturing them at the course level as micro-credentials and automatically including the skills earned in each course.

Additional non-credit and industry badges and certificates acquired through these programs can be added using the connect, upload, embed and link options as appropriate.
ACCS Adult Education Programs
Alabama Adult Education students who have completed programs on or after January 1, 2020, can “Sync” Alabama Adult Education (ACCS) under “Add Credentials”
This will add all your certificates (both short and long) as micro-credentials to your digital wallet, automatically including the skills earned with each course, when available. For a list of courses and programs eligible for automatic syncing, see Adult Ed in the Alabama Credential Registry.
Additional non-credit and industry badges and certificates acquired through these programs can be added using the connect, upload, embed and link options as appropriate.

Registered Apprenticeship is an industry-driven, high-quality career pathway where employers can develop and prepare their future workforce, and individuals can obtain paid work experience with a mentor, receive progressive wage increases, classroom instruction, and a portable, nationally recognized credential. Registered Apprenticeships are industry-vetted and approved and validated by the U.S. Department of Labor or a State Apprenticeship Agency.
You can "Connect" any Registered Apprenticeship record under "Add Credentials", bringing in the verified credential and associated skills into your digital wallet when available. You can explore apprenticeship opportunities the US Apprenticeship Finder.

Open Badges
Open Badges is the world's leading format for digital badges (credentials).
Open Badges is not a specific product or platform, but rather a type of digital badge that is verifiable, portable, and packed with information about skills and achievements. A digital badge is a visual symbol of accomplishment. Digital badges can be awarded for any definable achievement and earned in various learning environments, games or the workplace. You can "Upload, Embed or Link" to Open Badges under "Add Credentials" from any source or provider including industry certifications, formal education institutions and more. We also support embedding CTDL credentials.
Military Service Records
Connect your military service records to validate your skills and experiences as you transition to the civilian workforce.
"Connect" your military service records (ie: JST) into your digital wallet under "Add Credentials" by uploading your JST (Joint Services Transcript), ETJ (Navy's Electronic Training Jacket) or VMET (Verification of Military Experience and Training) to the DOD MilGears platform. DOD MilGears analyzes your military duties and training to provide customized credentials, skills and experiences that contribute to your LER.

Experiences
Capture the valuable skills and lessons learned from all your work, volunteer, and hobby experiences.
Use "Add Experiences" to represent any experience: work, learning, hobby, group, club, etc. that evidence what you know and can do. This can even look like a skill assertion over a myriad of experiences.
