- Plots characteristics of boreholes for oil and gas wells from photographic subsurface survey recordings and other data, representing depth, degree, and direction of inclination
- Works with other CAD team members, project managers, and project engineers to understand scope of work, schedules, and budgets for each project
- Identifies various rating systems (e.g., LEED, R-Value)
- Identifies and draws auxiliary views, section views, and threads and fasteners
- Demonstrates knowledge of schematic diagrams and orthographic drawings
- Locates and identifies symbols on topographical surveys to denote geological and geophysical formations or oil field installations
