- Assembles and modifies existing pieces of equipment to meet special needs

- Applies knowledge of brushless motor DC, magnifiers, calibrated resistance measuring equipment, multimeters, capacitance meters, network analyzers, circuit testers, notebook computers, desktop computers, and oscilloscopes
- Monitors processes for compliance with standards
- Assists in tailoring manufacturers' recommended PM or routine maintenance to local environment
- Selects hardware and material, assuring compliance with specifications and product requirements
