Description
The Colbert County Commission is currently accepting employment applications for a Sheriff's Deputy for the Colbert County Sheriff's Office. Applicants must apply in person at the Sheffield Career Center. Applicants must have an active registration in alabamaworks.alabama.gov to receive a referral letter and application. Online referrals will NOT be accepted. After receiving application and referral from Sheffield Career Center, applicants will turn these documents in to the Sheriff's Department at Colbert County Courthouse. Starting Salary will be $17.05/hr for Certified and $16.31/hr for Non/Certified plus health insurance and other benefits. Requirements: Must be a high school graduate or G.E.D.
