Description
Established in 2007 by Mrs. Irene S. Wischer, a highly respected San Antonio businesswoman and philanthropist, The Irene S. Wischer Education Foundation Scholarship provides scholarships to exceptional full-time undergraduate students attending a not-for-profit educational institution.
Eligibility Criteria
It was Mrs. Wischer’s wishes that scholarship recipients meet the following requirements:
be citizens of the United States who are residents of the state of Texas
be students of good character, with preference given to applicants who are Christians and attend church regularly
need financial assistance
show academic potential and ability

Award Amount
Up to $11,000 per academic year
Submission Month
Applications will be available from December 1 through mid-January each year.
